Hermès has launched the Carré H watch since 2010, a square watch designed by Marc Berthier. It has a very modern style and has been carefully designed to achieve clear reading characteristics at a glance. .
Today, the watch is reproduced with a new look: designer Marc Berthier has enlarged the square case by a few millimeters and made good use of ingenious light effects. The stainless steel case is polished and sandblasted, and the dial is engraved. It is arranged at right angles, and it also has hands with detailed facets and Arabic numerals.
This perfectly perfect light and shadow effect also harmoniously highlights the streamlined shape of the watch, showing the four rounded corners of the square, the concave contour of the case and the cylindrical mirror. In the end, the unique digital font design-with a ‘0’ in front of the single digit-added a new aesthetic balance to the watch.
